The M36-70-MB series is a 36mm diameter brushed DC motor with a 70mm body length, engineered to deliver high torque output and reliable long-term performance in demanding applications. The M36-70-MB delivers rated torque from 0.15 to 0.40 Nm depending on winding selection, with stall torque up to 250 mNm. No-load speeds range from 1,500 to 8,000 RPM, providing flexibility for applications requiring either higher speed or higher torque. The extended 70mm body accommodates a longer rotor with more copper windings and a larger magnet system, resulting in significantly higher torque output compared to shorter 36mm motors such as 36×50mm or 36×60mm versions.
The graphite/copper brush commutation system offers extended brush life and reliable electrical contact under high current loads, making this motor suitable for continuous-duty applications. The motor is available with either conventional iron-core construction for cost-sensitive applications or coreless (ironless rotor) construction for applications requiring zero cogging torque, low rotor inertia, and smooth operation at any position. The coreless option is particularly valuable for servo and precision positioning applications.

Planetary gearboxes with reduction ratios from 3:1 to 100:1 are available for torque multiplication, and magnetic or optical encoders can be integrated for closed-loop control.
