Heavy-Duty 22mm Metal Brush Motor – 30mm Length for Actuators & Pumps

Despite its short 30mm body, the M22-30 series delivers stall torque up to 50 mNm with no-load speeds ranging from 3,000 to 12,000 RPM depending on winding selection. The larger 22mm diameter allows for a more powerful magnet system and larger rotor mass compared to 12mm or 16mm motors, resulting in higher starting torque and better acceleration characteristics. Metal brush construction ensures reliable electrical contact under normal operating loads.

Design & Build Quality
The motor features a precision-drawn steel housing with pressed or machined mounting bosses. The commutator is precisely ground for smooth brush interaction, reducing sparking and extending brush life. Bearings are sintered bronze (standard) or ball bearings (upgrade option) for reduced friction and longer service intervals. Ventilation slots in the housing allow heat dissipation during extended operation.

Customization Options
OEM customers can specify shaft diameter (2.5mm, 3.0mm, or 3.17mm), shaft length, and end configurations including flat, cross-hole, knurling, or gear cutting. Gearbox attachments (planetary or spur) are available to reduce output speed while multiplying torque. For EMI-sensitive environments, ceramic capacitors or varistors can be added across motor terminals. Custom lead wire length and connector terminations are supported.

Quality Assurance
Each M22-30 motor undergoes 100% final inspection including no-load speed, no-load current, insulation resistance, and mechanical runout testing. Production follows ISO 9001:2015 quality management processes. RoHS and REACH compliance documentation is available upon request. Custom winding configurations and performance curves can be developed for volume orders.
